CBD Oil: Nature's Way of Helping Us Help Our Pets | Innovet Pet

Our pets do so much for us. In their pure, innocent way, they show us how to live, teach us how to love, and stand by us through it all. They are the most reliable part of our day, every day.

They give us the opportunity to prove ourselves by relying on us for food, shelter, and safety. Our cats and dogs are our family members who deserve the best care we can give.

When our pets are suffering, it hurts us, too. Nervous conditions such as anxiety in dogs and cats can become overwhelming. Pain in dogs and cats can manifest during illness or old age, making it hard for them to walk, run and play as they used to do.

Seizures and convulsions can steal their daily joy and livelihood. Anyone who has lost a beloved pet to cancer knows the confusion in their pet's eyes when they feel pain.

Cannabis has proven medical benefits for humans, and as High Times reports, a growing number of vets and pet owners now believe its benefits can be extended to our four-legged family members as well.

Traditional medications that vets give our pets may treat the underlying condition, but unwanted side effects often make them sleepy and nauseous while damaging their livers.

CBD Oil for Dogs and Cats | Innovet Pet

Innovet offers PurHemp+, a 100% natural hemp extract that may help your pet experience better health. PurHemp+ is completely non-psychoactive. It doesn't cause a "high" because it doesn't contain THC, the intoxicating chemical of marijuana.

PurHemp+ contains phytocannabinoids, with a different, lesser-known chemical in cannabis that is used in a holistic approach toward pet health.

An article by The Marijuana Times extols the virtues of Hemp Oil use in pets, citing two government studies suggesting that Hemp provides an immediate and long-lasting therapeutic response in dogs.

There have been 1500+ clinical studies regarding the effectiveness of cannabinoids.

The owners and staff of Innovet believe, but do not claim or imply, that countless dogs and cats have used hemp oils for the following conditions:

  • Pain (such as arthritis and bone pain)
  • Anxiety (separation, loud noise, travel, crowds)
  • Inflammation
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Appetite loss
  • Seizures, convulsions and muscle spasms

PurHemp+ is an easy to use oil that you can give directly to your dog or cat or add it to their food. Looking after your pet's every need is the most natural thing in the world.

We just lost our pet of 17 yrs., His name was Spot and he was a Jack Russell, full of life until about the last month he started slowing down, then the last week, he stopped eating & drinking as much, then stopped all together. I was so helpless, was trying everything, then I was online watching a Veterinarian who had a dog with cancer and he mentioned CBD Oil, I immediately went and purchased some. The last 2-2 1/2 days of his life he was much more at ease, anxiety was at a minimum and overall (the situation being what it was) he seemed at peace. I do not regret my decision at all. We miss him terribly and it’s been very difficult with him not greeting us at the door & snuggling, but I know he is not suffering.

Our 7 year old lab has had CCL surgery on both knees and he has dysplastic elbows. He is starting to show pain when running. He weighs about 70 lbs. Will the CBD oil help these conditions? I want to avoid putting him on pain meds, etc. He also has a life long history of nausea with some vomiting. We control this, mostly, with ID food and sensitive stomach dry food. Hoping the CBD oil will help with this also.

my 14 year old cat has a terrible fungal infection in his nose. He has a terrible time breathing through his nose, he sneezes and gags and can’t groom himself anymore. The vet put him Flucanozol, but it is hard to administer to him. He is so stressed out by all the medicine. Would the cbd oil work on fungal infections as well as it does on other ailments?

How is it harvested? What else is in it and can humans consume your CBD? I would like to see the label. Also where do you get it?

Julie - August 16, 2017

We just started our 19 year old male Siamese cat on this, and hope it helps with his mobility issues, anxiety and dementia. Any other cat stores out there? Would love to hear them.

We have 9 year old Golden Retriever that developed nasal cancer 18 months ago. They gave her 2-3 months with or without treatment. We have chose to not do radiation but treat her with acupuncture, chinease herbals, vitamin C infusion, laser light to the tumor, vitamin B 12 injections, an antibiotic and carpaquin ..she is getting to the point of not wanting to eat very well, and is weighing in at 74 lbs..I worry about pain, as animals can mask their pain . I am hopeful with the testimonies this CBD oil could give her some relief . I’ve already placed an order…going to share it with the vet to make sure there would be no adverse reaction with this and the other supplements she takes..Too many pills twice a day for her to take, I’m open to any advice you may have..
