"I have 2 small dogs, one is a senior and has stomach issues. I use this in conjunction with the hemp soft chews. The difference I see in just my senior dog alone is day and night. She has arthritis and a sensitive stomach. This has helped with her mobility and appetite. She’s got her pep back in her step and she now looks forward to eating."

"I gave our 2 five month old pups a bath with this and it seemed to help with their itchiness. It made their coats very soft and shiny. I will continue to use this, and can tell more later, since they are still adjusting to being bathed . They love playing in the water in their pool, but the bathtub...not so much 😂"

We Grow Organically Because We Care | Innovet Pet

When we are giving our pets medicine to improve their health, the last thing we want is something ends up causing more harm than good.

It’s crucial that before you give your pet a hemp product, you confirm it’s organically grown free from pesticides and fungicides. Hemp is an extremely hardy and resilient plant that does not require pesticides or herbicides. If you see their use for hemp products, run far away.

Why Hemp Doesn't Need Pesticides, Herbicides, And Fungicides

There are several reasons hemp is so resilient to diseases and pests. First, hemp plants grow tall and thick blocking light from hitting the soil. This keeps weeds, grasses, and pests that travel along them away.

The big reason, however, has to do with the phytocannabinoids and terpenes that give full spectrum hemp, otherwise known as CBD oil, its therapeutic properties. Hemp heals itself the same way it heals us. Terpenes that give hemp and other plants their aroma also act as hemp’s own antibiotic and analgesic medication. The phytocannabinoids will repair and stabilize the various biological process the plant uses to live, grow, and reproduce.

Using Pesticides With Hemp Is Dangerous

Using pesticides with hemp is more dangerous than it is when using it for other plants. Hemp likes cleaning the soil it’s grown in and will pretty much suck up whatever it can find, and this includes toxic and heavy metals. When cleaning up toxic spills and removing other contaminants from soils, hemp is often planted for this reason. Because it’s not like hemp is being used to efficiently replace enough things already - it’s incredible to see all that hemp can do!

Pesticides and disease control methods are frequently linked to a number of health conditions. And with hemp’s ability to easily absorb them, it is a necessity we avoid them. Hemp can better health across the spectrum, and the last thing we want is to have it indirectly hurt our pets.

It’s Easy To See Why We Care So Much

That’s why at Innovet Pet, we only use organic hemp grown free from pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides for both our full spectrum hemp CBD extract and our hemp seed carrier oil.

Furthermore, instead of simply selling you raw hemp extract like many, we use a distillation process that removes non-beneficial plant matter like chlorophyll that dilutes the oil’s potency and creates an unpleasant flavor.

We started this company because current pet healthcare was failing our own pets. This is why we feel it’s important to go above and beyond for the health of pets everywhere. So say no to non-organic hemp.
