About Us

How It All Started

Innovet Pet Products was founded in 2005 by two undergraduate colleagues, Matthew Terrill and David Louvet. They found themselves having to search tirelessly for innovative solutions to their pets health issues when veterinary services couldn't provide an answer. Necessity being the mother of invention, Matt and Dave set out on a journey to create new solutions.

With Dave’s background in BioChemistry and Matt’s in Engineering, they made the perfect duo for product development and were able to come up with effective formulas for many issues. Driven by a passion for animals and aided by their technical knowledge, they effortlessly created cost-driven solutions over an extended period of time in order to provide pet owners with affordable answers to problems they might be experiencing with their pets as well.

Every single product that we have developed here at Innovet Pet has a story, they are inspired by our own pets and their unique needs. Our special dog, Maximus, was one of them: he turned blind by the age of 8, fought cancer twice, and lived to the ripe old age of 16. Maggie, the puppy who had an unhealthy obsession with chocolate (what lady doesn’t?), was another. We’ve tailored our product line to fit our own unique needs because we figured that if we need these products, other pet parents probably do too!

Unlike other pet companies who invest in trends and marketing, we focus our efforts on providing excellent customer service as well as educating and engaging with our community. We seek to provide everyone with all the information that is needed in order for you to completely understand your options and find solutions.

Our Mission

Ever since we started developing our pet solutions we’ve only had one mission in mind; provide pet owners just like ourselves, with the most affordable and high quality solutions for their furry loved ones health, hygiene, and wellness. All of our products were developed with the modern day pet parent in mind and we emphasize providing total product transparency so that you can completely understand our formula and get all the information you need to make the best decisions for your pet’s health.

Every person who purchases from us can be relieved to know that we will work tirelessly day and night in order to provide you with the most outstanding service. It is our Innovet Promise to you that we will meet your expectations 100%. When you join our Innovet Community you will be treated with the utmost respect and you will gain access to our exclusive Facebook groups where our community shares experiences, solutions, stories, and other information so that we can all be better pet parents.

What Sets Us Apart

Unlike our competition who are focused on marketing strategies and social branding we emphasize product quality. At Innovet Pet, we carry the same passion that we first had back in 2005. We are focused on providing high-quality cost effective solutions which is why we have structured our business to do just that. We formulate and manufacture all of our products in-house from start to finish so that you can be rest assured that your individual product is being well taken care of.

Don't pay more money for low tier products that are outsourced and white labeled by large corporations, trust a company that is focused on providing the most excellent care to real people. The advantages that arise through our business strategy allows us to give you the best product at the lowest price, this is why we are able to out match the competition in all aspects of product development.

Our Innovet Promise to you, guarantees your 100% satisfaction. Our dedicated In-House Team is here to maintain the high standards for quality that we have upheld since we started back in 2005. Innovative solutions is what we stand behind, we are fully committed to finding the best and most efficient answers so that you and your furry friend can be happy and healthy.

Whether you’re looking for an environmentally friendly way to handle your dog’s, ahem, doo, or you’re looking for natural ways to ease your pet’s itch, we’ve got you covered.

The Innovet Family

Badge - Inspired by maximus

Maximus

The one who started it all, Maximus was the leader who ignited the passion behind the Innovet Pet Movement. The strength in character that Maximus contained in his body is that of legends. Stories of his shenanigans reverberate through the walls of the warehouse and drive the team to continue pushing forward.

Badge - inspired by Maggie

Maggie

The peacemaker amongst our dogs is ironically is the comical trouble maker of the bunch. She just cant seem to kick the habit of getting into things she's not supposed to:) At 3 months old she had an obsession with finding and literally eating cash - wallets, purses, laundry were all pillaged. When that obsession turned to pills and supplements, she had to be rushed to the vet 6 times in 3 weeks. At that time we invented the STAT Syringe for dogs to safely induce vomiting in poisoning situations. Since 2015 the Maggie inspired STAT Syringe has saved 1000’s of dogs.

Gordo

Gordo is unfortunately another one of Innovets fallen soldiers, his spirit was felt everywhere and it continues to provide motivation for us here. His childlike energy was forever present and could bright up any mood, one of his favorite past times was rolling on his back while in the truck on the way to work.

For a small dog she has a large appetite for adventure just like her owner. Gordon

Theres a lot of living up to do when you have a name like Sir Gordon Winston II and this guy surely does not disappoint. Coming in at almost 60 pounds this linebacker of a bulldog can do it all. He enjoys heated rounds of tug of rope, booty scratches, and running at the speed of light after he releases a number 2.

Maverick

Just a few months ago we had the pleasure of adding this little guy to our Innovet family. Puppy Maverick (AKA the Peeing Bandit) is an all black lab who has enough energy to power the entire warehouse operations for days at a time. Although he is the youngest he has already passed his older step-brother Gordon in height which leads to very aggressive battles for the tug of war rope.
