The Ways That CBD Oil Can Help A Dog Suffering From Cancer

What Is PCR Hemp Oil?

PCR hemp oil is an oil that comes from cannabis plants. Some people think this means it comes from marijuana, but medicinal PCR hemp oil comes from hemp. This plant is a safer and more medicinal relative of the marijuana plant.

Hemp oil can affect the cannabinoid receptor sites in people and other animals and helps manage many health problems.

Can It Cure Cancer?

It is important to get this out of the way immediately: Hemp oil is not a cure for cancer in dogs. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying to you or trying to sell you a snake oil cure. While it would be great if hemp could cure cancer, it cannot.

That doesn't mean it can't be a useful alternative treatment for your dog alongside more traditional medical procedures.

How Does It Help?

The major benefits of PCR hemp oil is the ways that it can help manage inflammation, decrease pain, manage seizures, and stimulate the appetite. All of these benefits are huge for a poor dog with cancer.

The anti-inflammation and pain effects help make them more comfortable and happy. Stimulating the appetite helps make them stronger and more able to resist the tumors in their body.

With the right expectations and a reasonable approach, hemp oil can be used to help pups who are suffering from cancer. Please don't hesitate to contact us today to learn more.

Article Summary:

  • Hemp oil rich with phytocannabinoids, like CBD, has been shown in both clinical trials and in anecdotal reports to be an effective and safe secondary treatment option for cancer.
  • Phytocannabinoids have known anti-cancerous properties and may prevent cancer cells from developing, as well, scientists have seen cannabinoids directly kill cancer cells in preclinical in vitro trials.
  • Chemotherapy is considered to be the most effective cancer treatment but produces many side effects such as pain, nausea, weakness, and reduce appetite. Many cancer patients (both human and fluff nuggets) have seen Hemp (PCR) oil help them with the side effects of chemotherapy better than any other medication.
  • All organisms with a backbone produce their own cannabinoids that attach to various cannabinoid receptors in the body and release therapeutic signals that promote regulatory and restorative effects over the entire body — this makes Hemp (PCR) oil a must have medication for many when fighting cancer.

This plant is a safer and more medicinal relative of the marijuana plant. Hemp oil can affect the cannabinoid receptor sites in people and other animals and helps manage many health problems.

Unlike marijuana, PCR hemp oil lacks notable traces of the psychoactive cannabinoid, THC, and can’t get you or your pet high in the slightest.

When hemp plants are grown under the guidelines set forth by the Agricultural Act of 2014 — commonly referred to as the U.S. Farm Bill — they are required to have 0.03% THC or less and given the legal term "industrial hemp." This means you can purchase CBD legally in any state in the United States.

Can It Cure Cancer?

It is important to get this out of the way immediately, Hemp oil is not a cure-all for cancer in dogs. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying to you or trying to sell you a snake oil cure. While it would be great if hemp could cure cancer by itself, it cannot. That doesn't mean it can't be a useful alternative treatment for your dog alongside more traditional medical procedures.

In fact, PCR hemp oil is recommended for cancer patients both upright and on all fours because not only does it directly fight cancer, it can help with many of the side effects that come along with chemotherapy.

How Does It Help?

Some of the major benefits of PCR hemp oil is the ways that it can help manage inflammation, decrease pain, manage seizures, and stimulate the appetite by eliminating nausea.

Hemp Helps With The Side Effects From Chemotherapy

All of these benefits are huge for a poor dog with cancer and going through chemotherapy.

The anti-inflammation and pain effects help make them more comfortable and happy. Stimulating the appetite helps make them get stronger and more able to resist the tumors in their body.

It common to see many different drugs prescribed to treat the side effects of cancer treatment alone. And instead of taking one for nausea, one for pain, one for weakness, etc. CBD can be effectively used to replace them all — often providing a greater degree of relief.

Cancer is already difficult to fight by itself, and chemotherapy makes it worse because it just doesn’t kill cancer cells but healthy cells.

While this is unfortunate, this is the best way to eliminate cancer from the body, because as you’ll see below, cancer cells are parasites and if you don’t remove all traces, it can easily and quickly come back.

There is currently no treatment that removes all cancer cells without hurting some regular cells. However, PCR hemp oil will help you and your pup cope with the destruction of these healthy cells.

Hemp Can Fight Tumors

When it comes to fighting cancer, early research is showing PCR hemp oil directly fights cancer cells in two major ways.

1. Stops Tumor Development: Cutting Off Nutrition

First, it can cut off nutrition to cancerous cells and this helps stops them from growing, and further developing. Cancer cells are the worst neighbors you can imagine — they will trick the healthy cells around them to signal for proteins and sugar.

Not only do cancer cells end up stealing these nutrients that grow them, they make the healthy cells break down the proteins into amino acids first.

2. Hemp Can KIll Cancer: Programmed Cell Death

As well, scientists have seen phytocannabinoids kill cancer cells by forcing them to signal for programmed cell death known scientifically as apoptosis. Healthy cells become cancerous in the first place when they become mutated and don’t naturally die after dividing so many times to produce new cells.

The longer a cell lives and the more times it divides to produce new cells, they naturally become more susceptible to mutation and dividing uncontrollably.

Add on top of things like carcinogens, which are things known to cancer cell mutations, and you can see why cancer is such a struggle to treat and prevent.

Fortunately, the phytocannabinoids in hemp act as neurotransmitters and will help make sure cells are sending the proper signals. They do this because all mammals produce their own endogenous cannabinoids that monitor, regulate, and repair many biological processes on a cellular level.

When they endocannabinoids are in short supply, an organism becomes sick in a number of ways. Bad inflammation increases, we become more anxious and more things set us off, and the cell’s become more susceptible to mutations.

Final Thoughts on Hemp Fighting Cancerous Cells and Tumors

We still do not have the studies needed to definitively show that phytocannabinoids will kill in mammals. Preclinical, in vitro, and many acendontial reports are showing real hope, however, and there is a great chance that hemp one day will be a major treatment in reducing and killing cancer.

In fact, it’s not outlandish to assume such because an outbreak of mustard gas lead to the discovery of using radiation therapy to kill cancer. If mustard gas can eventually become a major form of cancer treatment, then without a doubt hemp can.

Picking The Best Hemp (PCR) Oil

When choosing the best Hemp (PCR) oil for your pets, it’s important that you follow these 5 steps:

  1. Hemp (PCR) oil goes by a lot of names like CBD oil, or full spectrum hemp — these are all the same and instead, you want to look to see if it’s derived from hemp.
  2. When derived from legal hemp, this oil is legally required to have 0.03% THC or less, and this means it can’t get your pet high and you can purchase it in all 50 States.
  3. As well, it better have phytocannabinoids which may also be labeled as CBD (cannabidiol) oil.
  4. Make sure the label matches the products described amount, as well as matching it’s COA.
  5. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) are lab tested results ensuring the hemp product contains what it says it contains. All great companies make this easy to find.

My 7 year old black lab was just diagnosed with lymphoma. The medication they gave us caused him to have a stroke over the weekend. They want to start him on steroids. After the stroke I am concerned about what is in the steroids. Will CBD do the same thing that they claim the steroids will do? Can we give him both the steroid and the CBD together to benefit from the pros of both?

There are some instances that I believed that marijuana doesn’t give us a good benefit. I came across this article https://www.greenmed.io/blog/declares-cbd-safe-medical-use/ saying that CBD can be a useful as a medicine. My pet Goldie (Labrador) was suffering from mast cell tumors a form of skin cancer. And i don’t know how he will be cured then one of my friends told me to use CBD for him. I don’t know if it really works? Any suggestion for this?

For all of those looking for medical marijuana to help with cancer in their dogs, research Rick Simpson Oil – RSO. THC kills cancer, CBD oil helps with the symptoms – PAIN, inflammation, etc., of cancer, arthritis, seizures, anxiety, etc. They are not the same thing. Do your research. The answers are on the webs and it’s not that hard to find. There is tons of info about RSO and if you call the RSO dispensaries, they will tell you how to dose your dog. And, if you don’t want your dog to get high, understandably so, don’t feed it to them, use suppositories. Again, the info is on the webs as to why. Best of healing to all your animals. <3

My greyhound was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg. She had her leg amputated in February. At her first chemo treatment one of the first things her oncologist encouraged me to do was to start her on a max CBD oil right away. I tried several CBD oils and was referred to Innovet by another greyhound owner. I tried Innovet and it worked really well for her. She is getting it daily and thriving! She’s almost finished with chemo, but I’ll keep her on the Innovet CBD oil the rest of her life.
