"I have 2 small dogs, one is a senior and has stomach issues. I use this in conjunction with the hemp soft chews. The difference I see in just my senior dog alone is day and night. She has arthritis and a sensitive stomach. This has helped with her mobility and appetite. She’s got her pep back in her step and she now looks forward to eating."

"I gave our 2 five month old pups a bath with this and it seemed to help with their itchiness. It made their coats very soft and shiny. I will continue to use this, and can tell more later, since they are still adjusting to being bathed . They love playing in the water in their pool, but the bathtub...not so much 😂"

Which CBD Product Is Right For Your Pet?

With so many CBD and hemp products out there, it can be difficult figuring out which one is right for your pet. At Innovet Pet, we use the same great all-organic full spectrum hemp for all of our CBD products, so quality is always 100%.

When it comes to which of our CBD product is right for you and your pet, you’ll want to consider your pet’s weight first. While CBD edibles like dog treats are fantastic, they by nature provide a dose that is more one-size-fits-all compared to CBD oil which gives you a greater degree of control over dosage.

While CBD has very low side effects and you can’t really give your pet too much CBD, giving your pet more than they need costs you money. As well, high doses can cause some tiredness in your pet, and you may not be looking for said results.

To combat this one-size-fits-all disadvantage, we created multiple size treats that are appropriately dosed for the tiniest fluff nuggets all the way up to the ones that take up all the of the couch.

Which Hemp Product Is Right For My Pet?

These dosing guidelines are not set in stone but merely here to show you the average dosages most pet owners are giving their pets based on their weight and condition. It’s always best to start small and increase dosage once a week until desired effects are met. As such, you may find that you have to give more or less than average and this is fine. 1-2 mg per pound is the recommended maximum amount you should give in a single day.

If you’re looking for a precise dosage, oil will always be your best bet, but we give you many options, so you’re not stuck with just it. If you're looking for more help in choosing the best hemp product, and want to see which of our products we recommend for all pets, check out our handy infograph below.
